The man who’s behind DIM MAK RECORDS has been credited with launching the careers of some of the most influential acts of the last decade including Bloc Party, The Kills, Klaxons, MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, Mystery Jets, The Rakes, The Gossip and more. Since founding the label, he’s stepped into the limelight himself as a DJ, artist and producer remixing the likes of Michael Jackson, The Killers, Robin Thicke, Lenny Kravitz, Weezer, Chester French, Tiga, All American Rejects, Drake, Chris Cornell & more.  More recently he’s been seen collaborating with likeminded producers ranging from from Armand Van Helden, Laidback Luke, Afrojack, Boys Noize, The Faint, D.i.M., The Bloody Beetroots, & Junkie XL and can now be found readying his debut artist album which includes collaborations from the likes of Lil Jon, Rivers Cuomo, Sky Ferreira, Chiddy Bang, Travis Barker, Kele of Bloc Party, Kid Cudi, Blaqstarr and the mysterious [[[zuper blahq]]] who can be found on the lead single “I’M IN THE HOUSE”. Also involved in fashion, Aoki has developed lines for KR3W Apparel, Supra Footwear, headphones for WESC, headwear with NEFF, bags with Burton, & a brand new mens/women’s range with his sister Devon.

Calvin Harris is a Scottish singer-songwriter, record producer, DJ. Referred to as the King of electropop, his gold-selling debut album, I Created Disco, was released in 2007 and contained the Top 10 singles “Acceptable in the 80s” and “The Girls”. He has written and produced records for other recording artists including Kylie Minogue’s X and his number 1 collaboration with British rapper Dizzee Rascal, “Dance Wiv Me”. His second studio album Ready for the Weekend was released on 17 August 2009 and reached number 1 in the UK Album Charts on 23 August. It contains the number 1 single “I’m Not Alone” the UK Top 5 Single “Ready for the Weekend”, which was released on 10 August and the track “Flashback” which was released as the third single from the album on 2 November 2009. The fourth single from the album, “You Used to Hold Me” was released on 8 February 2010 as a CD single and download. A remix album titled L.E.D. Festival was released in July 2010 as a free album in the August issue of Mixmag.

Deadmau5 hand-picked 24-year-old British producer and DJ Burns to warm up for him at every show during a 30 date US tour last year. He’s also Calvin Harris’ go-to support DJ when he tours.  And yet not much was known about Burns, until recently, when his face appeared everywhere, in both high brow broadsheets like The Times, and dance bibles Mixmag and DJ Magazine. Even rock rag NME jumped on the Burns wagon.  Now big bands like the Black Eyed Peas, Wolfmother, Ladyhawke, and Franzmusik are asking for remixes, so we decided to get closer to the rising star of British electro house as his new EP ‘So Many Nights’ has just been released.
